Star Citizen - Temperate Ferns Plants

Hello!

The Temperate Ferns were my onboarding task when I joined CIG back in 2022. It was also my first time using SpeedTree, and I’m grateful to the team for allowing me to learn as I went. Looking back, I remember being too nervous to even doing anything 😄

These assets can be found in MicroTech, one of the planets in Star Citizen, particularly in the greener regions (forests and grasslands). MicroTech is a frozen planet undergoing terraforming to become habitable, which allows for lush vegetation and breathable environments.

I was given a lot of creative freedom with this fern, and I wanted to add something unique, so I introduced plant buds and residue details to help break up the typical silhouette.
