Star Citizen - Rock Caves + Armillaria Mushroom

The Rock Caves, added in the 3.24.2 content update, were the second cave archetype I contributed to, this time with a more of responsibilities than the previous one (sand caves).
One of my main tasks was creating the glowing mushroom (Armillaria) unique to this environment. I handled the full pipeline of this asset, from early RnD and exploring shapes and color variations, to modeling, texturing, LOD setup, and developing decals that helped support the cave’s green-blue atmosphere. In addition to that, I also created the mushroom harvestables that the plaver can pluck out.
Getting the glow just right was a fun challenge, and I appreciated the feedback and support from the CIG Organic team and our AD Ian Leyland throughout the process.

Alongside the mushroom work, I also contributed to set dressing, cave system layout, shell generation, and placement on planets of the rock cave archetype. Later, I helped maintaining this cave archetype as level owner.
